PAINT COLOR MATCHING

Downtown Walnut Creek Ace Hardware can color match paint! This simple service will make all the difference when replicating your original shade. There are a few ways to do this, but the most common is to cut into your wall and take a 1×1 piece. To do this, grab a box cutter, score the area, and pop it out. A short Youtube video could help you with this too. The size is important as it will increase the likelihood of an exact match. The piece should be flat and solid for the best result. However, in the past, we have been able to do this with stucco. 

This service is free. After finding your match, we can make you a low-cost sample that will cover ten square feet with two coats of paint. We recommend doing this before purchasing a gallon. Ask us to save your color sample on our computer for future projects!
