How to Paint Trim and Moldings
- Use a small trim pale. It allows you to keep a small amount of paint with you as you move.
- A 2 1/2″ angled synthetic trim brush is ideal for painting in those though spots.
- For base boards, start by using painter’s tape and a canvas drop cloth to prevent messes.
- Be sure to work in gaps of 3-4 feet at a time. This gives you time to spot mistakes or drips before they dry.
