THE PIE COMPANY
The Pie Company is a wholesale bakery in Ripon, California. After graduating high school, John Burgess had the opportunity to take over a friend’s pie-making business. Burgess went from selling the pies at a fruit stand to wholesale distribution. Since 2008, this company has been making “homemade pies just like grandma used to” in various delicious flavors. Downtown Walnut Creek Ace Hardware sells frozen pies to “take and bake.”
LULA'S CHOCOLATE
Located in Monterey, California, this delicious chocolate company has a sweet history. Scott Lund started Lula’s Chocolates as a tribute to his grandmother and the business she ran for over thirty years, Mrs. Lund’s Personality Chocolates. Lula taught him all about the “art of confectionery,” equipping Scott to continue making chocolate even after she passed. Downtown Walnut Creek Ace Hardware sells a variety of Lula’s Chocolates.

Images of America is a longstanding book series focusing on different towns in every state. It features pictures with corresponding captions explaining the locations, dates, and contexts. MAGIC GARDEN HONEY
Based in Diablo Valley, Magic Garden Honey’s mission is to offer “nature’s purest gift–honey–in all its perfection.” Terry and Sue are dedicated to responsible beekeeping, honey bee health, and pollinator habitat restoration. Their honey is local, raw, and unfiltered. Downtown Walnut Creek Ace Hardware sells Magic Garden Honey in glass jars, bear-shaped squeeze bottles, and sticks.
